discussed the 2009 fall season with Chris Webb of Buckeye State Baseball in
mid-November.
Pasquale spoke about the strength of YSU's pitching staff and
defense and his overall excitement as the 2010 season approaches.

Baseball Players Sign NLIs to Attend

Youngstown -- Three infielders, two outfielders and
two pitchers have signed an NLI to continue their baseball
and academic careers at YSU, Penguins head coach Rich
Pasquale announced.
Poland High's Phil Lipari joins infielders Drew Dosch and
Daniel Hurlimann while Hermitage, Pa., native David Saluga and Chris Mitko are
the outfielders. The pitchers are Nicolas Manuppelli and Triantafyllos Krokos.

With the recently concluded fall baseball season
coinciding with the upcoming winter months, the Youngstown State baseball
coaches have turned their focus to improving each player individually. The
coaches held one-on-one meetings with each player the final week of October to
discuss progress on the field and in the classroom as well as upcoming community

Youngstown -- The Youngstown State baseball team welcomed
talent scouts from nearly 20 Major League Baseball organizations on Wednesday at its
annual pro day.
The Penguins
showcased their talents under the lights
for about two hours at Eastwood Field.
According to head coach Rich Pasquale,
several players really caught the eye
of several scouts.

Youngstown -- The Youngstown State baseball program has 10
new student-athletes and a new locker room for the 2009-10 academic year, both which
has head coach Rich Pasquale excited for the future.
The Penguins welcomed the 10
talented newcomers to a squad that already features seven returning starters to the
line-up and all three of its weekend starters. Release
