Men's Basketball Picked Seventh in Horizon League Preseason Poll

Indianapolis, Ind. -- The Youngstown State men's basketball team has been predicted to finish seventh in the Horizon League in a preseason poll by the league's head coaches, sports information directors and selected media, the circuit announced on Tuesday.

seventh in the Horizon League.The Penguins, who finished tied for sixth last season and return 10 letterwinners and four starters, received 197 points.
Regular-season defending champion Butler was picked as the preseason favorite garnering 43 of a possible 46 first-place votes and tallied 455 of a possible 460 points.
Wright State picked up one first-place vote and 398 points for second while defending tournament champion Cleveland State was picked third with 324 points and two first-place votes.
Milwaukee (314 points), Green Bay (273) and Detroit (209) were picked fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively, while Valparaiso (137), UIC (126) and Loyola (97) round out the poll.
