The
Youngstown State men's tennis team traveled to the
Michigan State outdoor tennis courts
this past weekend against Toledo, Detroit, Wright State, Northern
Illinois and Michigan State.
Steve D'Angelo led the Penguins
defeating Chris Cheung (Detroit) 7-5, 6-2
in the Flight B Singles second round.
Also winning in the Flight A backdraw
singles was Mike Kathary
over Partick Troy (Detroit) 6-4, 6-2.
The Penguins will wrap up fall
competition Oct. 15-19 at
the ITA Midwest Regional
Championships.
