Thrower Lyndsie Hall Appointed YSU Student Trustee
Youngstown -- Youngstown State sophomore track and field member Lyndsie Hall (Boardman, Ohio) has been appointed by Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland as a student representative to the YSU Board of Trustees.
Hall
is the first-ever YSU student-athlete to be appointed to the Board of
Trustees.Hall, who is a sophomore thrower on the Penguins, is the first student-athlete to be named to this position. Last season, Hall was victorious in the javelin at the Horizon League Outdoor Championships with a throw of 105’-1”.
Along with being a member of the track and field team, Hall also works in the Center for Student Progress as a peer mentor and is also a member of Youngstown State’s Emerging Leaders Program.
Hall’s term on the board of trustees runs through 2011.
