Youngstown State women's basketball team volunteered at September's spaghetti
dinner at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Youngstown for the second

Guins Help Raise Funds at Children's Hospital Radiothon
Members of the YSU women's
basketball team volunteered for a two-hour shift at the "Miracles and Promises" Radiothon at the Akron Children's Hospital Beeghly Campus. The funds raised by the Penguins and all other funds gathered during the Radiothon
will stay in the Mahoning Valley to benefit local children and families.

Guins Volunteer at Park Vista Retirement
Community of Youngstown
For the second straight year, members of the Youngstown
State women's basketball team volunteered to hand-stir apple butter for the
Park Vista Apple Butter Festival at the Park Vista Retirement Community of
Youngstown.

Manuel Leads Service Project at Local Middle School
The team spoke about the importance of education with eighth grade
students at W.S. Guy Middle School in. The project was
overseen by senior Rachael Manuel. The Penguins' student-athletes encouraged
the school's 162 eighth graders to become more involved at school so they
can take advantage of all the opportunities education can present in life.
